Raleigh, NC 27609 Overview The award winning CWDJ is seeking a dynamic and engaging professional Wedding Disc Jockey (DJ) to join our successful growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, a flair for entertaining, and the ability to create an unforgettable experience for guests and our couples.

As a wedding DJ, you will be responsible for curating playlists, working with our couples, following requests, mixing tracks, staying organized, following strict timelines following instructions given and interacting with the audience to keep the energy high at all events. This role requires top notch excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. Must work well under pressure and be able to adjust to last minute changes with ease. Responsibilities Curate and mix music playlists tailored to various events and audiences – in most cases they will have an online portal that you can get on to see all information. Engage with clients, guests and vendors through public speaking and interactive entertainment. Set up and operate sound equipment, ensuring optimal audio quality. Collaborate with event & wedding planners to understand specific requirements, set up locations and themes. Promote events through social media, marketing and branding efforts. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to requests made by our couples and vendors and also ensuring guest satisfaction. Assist with heavy lifting of equipment as needed during setup and breakdown of events. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while performing. No sneakers, no jeans, no hats. No Smoking or Drinking at events period. Qualifications

MUST HAVE YOUR OWN PROFESSIONAL UP TO DATE DJ RIG TO WORK FOR US!

MUST

HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION FOR YOU AND EQUIPMENT. MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EVENT OR WEDDING EXPERIENCE. WEDDING EVENT EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – in person and on phone calls/zoom video calls. Willing to learn, keep up with the latest trends, the latest music and the latest technology. Willingness to attend meetings and trainings. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Knowledge of all music genres and trends, along with the ability to read the crowd’s energy while understanding the clients vision. Ability to perform heavy lifting related to equipment setup and breakdown. A background in weddings and events is highly preferred. Familiarity with social media strategies to promote our weddings and events is desirable. We like to post footage live in action and also make video reels for our account and tag our couples/vendors so experience with video editing is a huge plus. Must be able to stand the whole duration. There is no sitting down at weddings.
