As a DJ, you will be responsible for creating an unforgettable atmosphere through music selection, mixing, and interaction with guests. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys public speaking and has a flair for customer service. Duties Curate and mix music playlists tailored to the event type and audience preferences. Perform live at events, ensuring seamless transitions between tracks. Engage with the audience through announcements, song requests, and interactive segments. Set up and dismantle DJ equipment, which may involve heavy lifting. Collaborate with event planners to understand specific requirements and themes. Promote upcoming events through social media and other marketing channels. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring a positive experience. Maintain equipment in good working condition and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise. Requirements Strong public speaking skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Experience in marketing or promoting events is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during setup and breakdown of equipment. Knowledge of dance music genres and trends to create engaging playlists. Exceptional customer service skills to foster a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience in bartending is beneficial but not mandatory.
