JOB SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to manage the promotion and sale of custom & wedding cake orders.
COMPENSATION
$18-22/hour; 40 hours per week; Ocassional overtime
WORK DAYS
Tuesday through Saturday
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensures outstanding guest service by modeling exemplary service delivery Communicates promptly to custom and wedding inquiries via phone and email Quotes pricing for customized desserts Hosts in person wedding consultations at the Collierville location Collects and processes payment for custom desserts Sends Organized files to decorators with drawings, pictures and a detailed written description Sets up delivery schedule and confirms deliveries with vendors and guests Manages all aspects of custom & wedding-related bakery products. Manages the scheduling and represents Frost at off-site charitable events, as needed. Executes administrative tasks including, but not limited to, saving files in correct folder and format, completion of customer data sheet, maintenance of appointments on shared calendar for deliveries, consultations and events, and invoicing through REVEL system. Takes custom orders via email inquiries through our website. May perform other duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
(including required licenses or certifications) High school diploma or GED At least 2 years of experience in a retail store, food service, or event planning. Preferred 1 year of experience specifically handling wedding cakes and/or event planning.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Ability to develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with customers and other employees. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal/external customers. Strong organizational skills for the performance of a variety of complex administrative duties. Ability to prioritize tasks. Accuracy and attention to detail; logical and methodical approach to problem solving. Proficiency in standard software applications including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Dropbox, and with standard office equipment.
ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS
This job operates in a climate-controlled retail environment with occasional exposure to a 0-degree walk-in. Appropriate cold-weather gear is provided at each location.

Regularly requires evening hours and weekend work.
