The ideal candidate will operate drones for various applications, including aerial photography, surveying, and data collection. This role requires a strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, a current Part 107 sUAS license, and the ability to work in diverse environments. The Drone Pilot will be crucial in delivering high-quality aerial imagery and data to support our clients’ projects. Duties Operate drones safely and efficiently in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Capture high-resolution images and videos for various projects, including photography and film production. Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze aerial data and create detailed maps. Collaborate with team members to plan flight paths and ensure successful mission execution. Maintain detailed logs of flight operations, including flight times, conditions, and any issues encountered. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in drone technology, and regulatory changes. Provide mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining drone equipment. Requirements Current Part 107 license from the FAA. In-depth understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations related to drone operations. An understanding of how RTK, PPK, and ground control work. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on drone equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. This role is a contract-to-hire position.
