Job Description:
Our client is seeking a professional and experienced LiDAR Drone Pilot to conduct precise and efficient aerial surveys using state-of-the-art drone technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing high-resolution LiDAR data for various applications, including open field surveys, topographic mapping, and utility infrastructure scanning. This role requires a meticulous approach, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
Conduct LiDAR drone surveys of open fields, topography, and utility infrastructure using company-provided advanced drone systems.
Plan and execute flight missions, ensuring optimal data capture and adherence to project specifications.
Process and analyze LiDAR data to generate accurate and detailed 3D models and maps.
Maintain and troubleshoot drone equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Adhere to all FAA regulations and company safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
Interact professionally with local residents and address any inquiries or concerns that may arise during field operations.
Maintain accurate records of flight logs, data collection, and equipment maintenance.
Travel to various project sites within the Nashville Metro Area.
Position Requirements
Requirements:
Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
Proven experience in operating and maintaining LiDAR-equipped drones.
Strong understanding of LiDAR data processing and analysis.
