Spaceflight Correspondent – Space content producer Youtube Orbital Edge News Orlando, FL 32828 • Hybrid work Job Summary Orbital Edge is seeking a conversational and passionate spaceflight news content producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to research spaceflight and astronomy topics. The candidate should have general knowledge of NASA, Roscosmos, CSAA, ESA, Space X, and United Launch Alliance topics. Additionally, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. This job will be hybrid and we will shoot Youtube and Roku format content. Compensation $50 Per completed show (full-featured long-form video) $25 per completed Spacepod (short) This adds up to $75 per content cycle. Each cycle is two weeks long.

Scope of Duties and Performances:

Deliver balanced and informative spaceflight news which include recent rocket launches, high-profile launches and the mission impact it has on spaceflight as a whole Write video scripts for two formats, short form and long form on Youtube Some remote-work required which includes the research and script drafting Cooresponding with industry talent, partners, media, and content creators who’s content may appear on our show What we Are looking for: Preference for individuals that have worked, or currently employed in the space industry Must live near the Avalon Park FL area. Be mindful if you live in Orlando as the Disney side may be quite the drive. A conversationalist that can direct a topic in a dynamic way A charismatic person that can contact potential industry leaders through email All Rockets at All Costs culture. We need someone who loves ALL rockets and ALL space programs. Negative candidates will not be considered , eg. SLS haters, Artemis deniers, moon landing deniers, ect. •Please head over to our Youtube channel and watch 1 spacepod and 1 episode show. Know and learn the difference from a Space Pod vs a show.
