As an Information Design & Content Editor, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our research not only informs but also resonates powerfully with our executive-level audience. This is a strategic role that focuses on refining and structuring our intelligence content to maximize readability and impact. You will define a compelling content vision for our research outputs, establish best practices for content clarity, and guide our teams through the implementation of these strategies. You’ll leverage generative AI tools for scale and efficiency in editing and content innovation for extensive volumes of content. You’ll be at the center of how our intelligence is consumed, consistently elevating its quality and accessibility. Your ultimate goal is to make our content digestible, easy to follow, and efficient to read for our discerning business leader audience. This role is not just editorial or copy management. It is about storytelling and maximizing consumability – turning complexity into clarity and aligning content systems with both audience expectations and business objectives. Included in the role are the strategic shaping, meticulous editing, and innovative design of our research outputs. Those effective in this role… Work with our research teams to take complex stories and craft headlines with immediate impact and clarity. Apply principles of information design to ensure content is visually appealing, logically structured, and easy to navigate for busy executives. Strategically leverage AI tools for extensive editing reviews, discerning which materials require a human touch versus what can be efficiently scaled by AI. Provide clear, actionable feedback across teams internally, ensuring consistency and excellence in content delivery. Proactively manage content pipelines, from initial draft to final, polished output, often working with tight deadlines. Take a highly organized, strategic approach to content, while expressing a hands-on attitude toward refining every detail. You should have a strong interest in business insights and could come from a variety of backgrounds, including content strategy, technical writing, or information design.
Desired Skills & Experience:
5+ years of relevant work experience in content editing, content strategy, technical writing, or information design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to simplify complex information. Proven familiarity and practical experience with AI-powered content and editing tools. You understand their capabilities and limitations in enhancing quality and scale. Demonstrated business acumen with experience beyond traditional journalism, understanding what resonates with executive-level audiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an acute attention to detail and a strong command of grammar, style, and tone. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate different deadlines. An analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret how content performs and resonates. Proactive, productive, collaborative, self-driven, and results-oriented work ethic.
