Social Media Manager ZenGame Kansas City, MO 64106 ZenGame is an emerging force in college sports storytelling. We create powerful content that brings fans inside the minds and lives of top athletes across the country. From quarterback interviews to short-form storytelling to behind-the-scenes locker room energy — we turn raw access into digital momentum. We’re now expanding with a brand-new Kansas City office and looking for a Social Media Manager to help us grow our presence across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and X. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Kansas City, MO — built for someone who lives and breathes short-form content and understands how to grow a sports media brand from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Own the day-to-day posting schedule across TikTok, IG, YouTube Shorts, and X Write hooks, captions, and headlines that stop scrolls and drive engagement Pull short-form moments from interviews and footage (with editor support) Coordinate with the video editor and field producer to publish consistently Engage with athlete content, monitor comments, and grow audience trust Track video performance and help refine our creative strategy Bring fresh ideas to the table every week — you’ll be part of a creative trio alongside our editor and producer
Ideal Candidate:
Obsessed with sports culture, athlete personalities, and NIL energy Deep understanding of TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts best practices Strong headline + hook writing skills Experience working in sports media, agency, or creator content a major plus Can manage creative assets and workflows without micro-managing
Bonus:
light editing or Canva/Photoshop experience for stories + posts You’re the kind of person who sends 5 viral videos a day to your friends
