Temporary Visual Editor, Elle Decor
New York, NY, United States (Hybrid)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Partner with the Elle Decor Visual Team on all photo shoots and photo research.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate closely with editors and the Art Department on all shoots and photo research for print and digital.
Commission photographers and oversee all aspects of shoot production, with a focus on home interior photography, requiring a visual editor with expertise in this area.
Attend photo shoots and provide on-set art direction.
Source and coordinate props for shoots.
Manage budgets and shoot estimates.
Handle all production logistics, including invoices, credits, estimates, advances, contracts, call sheets, and insurance.
Assist with image processing and asset management, including metadata application, image archiving, and PDF creation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years producing home interior shoots.
Must have photo research experience.
Must have working knowledge of the home interior photo landscape.
