This role involves conceptualizing and creating innovative designs that align with our brand’s vision while ensuring high-quality garment construction. The Fashion Designer will collaborate with various teams, including product management and fashion retail, to bring designs from concept to market. Duties Assist in determining looks for Miami Swim Week Assist in the event Develop original fashion concepts and designs that reflect current trends and brand identity. Create detailed sketches and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and CAD software. Collaborate with the product management team to ensure designs meet production feasibility and cost targets. Oversee the garment construction process, ensuring quality standards are met throughout production. Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper fit and style. Stay updated on industry trends, fabrics, colors, and techniques to inform design decisions. Assist in styling for photoshoots and fashion shows to showcase collections effectively. Requirements Proficiency in sewing machine operation and garment construction techniques. Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator for design creation. Experience in fashion design, styling, and retail environments. Ability to illustrate concepts clearly for presentations and collaboration purposes. Knowledge of product management processes within the fashion industry is a plus. Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A portfolio showcasing previous design work is required for consideration.
