Paint Sales Position Available In Berkshire, Massachusetts

The primary responsibilities of the paint sales associate positions areto provide customer service through direct sales of merchandise. Paintsales associates are tasked with additional and specialized duties thatinclude giving color consults, paint product selection advice,maintaining equipment and overseeing the paint department.

• Maintainthe paint counter, aisles, and inventory daily.
• Including cleaning,arranging merchandise, stocking shelves, and preparing for re-supply.
• Offer color matching expertise, color consults and product selectionadvice.
• Prepares paint orders to customer requirements. Includinginvoices, instore pickup, quotations, special orders and/or deliveryorders.
• Display and describe merchandise to suggest selections thatmeet customer needs.
• Emphasize selling points of products such asquality and utility.
• Ensure paint department performs to theexpectations of the store manager.
• Maintain awareness of allpromotions and advertisements.
• Establish relationships and workclosely with customers.
• Respond to customers’ questions and phoneinquiries regarding products/procedures, including problem solving,order taking, product application and sale.
