Associate Designer Market Tree Research 1 New York City Highway 30A, Margaretville, NY 12455 About the job Maggy London, a leading designer and manufacturer in the dress industry is seeking an v in our design department. Our design team designs and develops six seasonal collections each year. You would directly work with our design team to achieve their day to day activities and time sensitive goals.

Assistant Job Responsibilities:

Attend all Design Meetings and take notes accordingly to update all design boards, charts, and records. Updating sketches Update our internal design charts Track style development Assist with all design renderings Organize and update all seasonal fabric and trims Assist during photoshoots Annotate sketches with construction and design details Skills/Requirements Knowledge of fabric, garment construction, and fit. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making skills Ability to meet commitments accurately and proficiently. Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment under pressure. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must haves:

1. Be able to sketch by hand, Illustrator and Procreate. 2. Very organised, pay attention to detail and work in fast paced environment 3. Be able to create Tech packs, know construction and trim details 4. Come from a contemporary or dress market 5. Positive attitude 6. 3-5 years experience in Design.

$44,222.09 – $53,256.71 per year
