Job Description

The Opportunity Our Print Design team is growing! Come be a part of the fun and deliver the brand vision and collaborate with our design teams. The primary responsibility is to create trend appropriate, original fabric and print designs that maintain the product aesthetic and strategy for all brands. Reporting to the Senior Print Designer, the Print Designer is responsible for all aspects of designing printed, woven and embroidered textiles inclusive of the conception of ideas, execution of engraver ready art, and development color stories. In this role you will be responsible for overall project management and follow-up for each CAD created. You will have the ability to work independently, accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines. You will manage and ensure maintenance of current CAD standard procedures for file naming conventions, directory structure, archiving, color matching, AI/Spec connectivity, and on-line submission process to production partners and manage appropriate storage and maintenance of CAD files in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. Your Impact Leverage your strong ability while designing prints, yarn dyes, embroideries and embellishments for multiple brands. Maintain a thorough understanding of current and upcoming trends in the women’s apparel market via shopping trips, studio visits and conferences. Leverage Ned Graphics Design and Repeat or similar textile design software and working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Create seasonal and monthly line boards by style, color and print as a tool to benefit the greater team. You Adhere to the seasonal time and action calendars and communicate internally and externally as needed with overseas vendors and offices. Upload CAD Proto samples to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with Apparel Design Team and Merchants to ensure that brand appropriate and trend right artwork is created for the benefit of the brand. What You Bring You have 5 +years of Print Design, CAD work. You are local to the West Chester, PA Headquarters as this Print Designer comes into the office for a hybrid work week. You have strong Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator background. You have strong communication skills to communicate creative ideas during key development meetings and share with overseas vendors and offices. You have a proficiency in PC operations, NedGraphics Design or similar software.
