Floral Manager Job Summary As Palmer’s Floral Team Lead , you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and vibrant floral department and shopping experience. You’ll support and guide the floral team, ensure excellent customer service, manage floral inventory and displays, and help maintain the overall presentation and organization of the department.
Key Responsibilities :
Support the sales floor by guiding, training, and leading the floral team in upholding department standards, including detailed plant care, floral arranging, display upkeep, and high-quality customer service. Provide administrative support to the Floral Manager, including conducting monthly floral inventory. Assist with stockroom organization related to floral supplies and maintain a general understanding of pricing structure and profit margins. Ensure the floral department is consistently stocked with necessary supplies and merchandise by placing proactive orders as needed. Participate in plant buying meetings with the Floral Manager to evaluate sales performance of houseplants and outdoor plants. Assist in building seasonal floral displays and planning future seasonal themes throughout the floral department. Educate and engage customers and team members alike on plant care and maintenance. Take custom floral arrangement orders and act as liaison between customers and the designer. Help address vendor issues and assist with claim resolution as necessary. Requirements Efficient in Google Suites Excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively Ambition to lead and educate a team to provide personalized customer service Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on store needs. Weekends and Holidays availability are a must. Actively participate with all company standards and values
