Florist Gallery of Flowers Sunrise, FL 33351 Overview We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. Must have excellent customer service skills. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop. Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events. Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences. Maintain inventory by stocking flowers, plants, and supplies; ensuring freshness and quality. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Keep the shop organized and visually appealing by arranging displays and cleaning work areas regularly. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a floral or garden setting. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customers. Knowledge of lawn care and gardening practices is beneficial for advising customers on plant care. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive working environment. Experience operating POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
