Fort Kent, ME 04743 Job Overview We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design and a love for flowers, capable of creating stunning arrangements for various occasions. This role requires a blend of artistic talent, customer service skills, and retail experience to ensure that our clients receive exceptional floral products and service. Duties Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions. Maintain the stock of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality. Assist customers in selecting floral products that meet their needs and preferences. Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately using POS systems. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and aesthetically pleasing shop environment. Perform landscape maintenance tasks as needed to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor displays. Stay updated on floral design trends and techniques to continually improve skills. Skills Proficient in floral design with a strong understanding of color theory and composition. Experience with cash register operations and retail math for accurate transaction handling. Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Sales experience is beneficial for promoting products and services effectively.
