Job Description
Floral Designer 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 649 East Lincoln Avenue, Myerstown, PA 17067 1. Ensuring that flowers are properly watered and stored to prevent wilting. 2. Selecting and arranging flowers and decorative items to create standard and customized floral arrangements. 3. Perform office and retail service duties such as keeping financial records, provide excellent customer service, answering telephones and maintain records and documents. 4. Maintaining adequate supply of wires, foams, ribbons, tapes, and other decorative supplies. 5. Work with the Produce Manager to order fresh flowers from wholesalers and growers as required. 6. Maintaining an accurate record of floral arrangements orders and special requests. 7. Advising customers on the proper care and maintenance of their selected floral arrangements. 8. Consulting with clients to determine their preference and specifications before designing customized floral arrangements. 9. Perform general cleaning duties in the store to ensure the shop is clean and tidy. 10. Unpack stock and prepare for storage. 11. Perform supervisory duties when requested by management. 12. Aid in the training of new hires. 13. Perform other duties and assignments as directed. 14. Observe policies and procedures established for the department.
