Summary of Position:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing all graphic design and job layout in compliance with the work order specifications and/or manipulate customer artwork / files to become compatible with center design and RIP software.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years education in graphic design or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in sign industry a plus.
• Knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, products a plus.
• Prepares comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction according to instructions of client or supervisor
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional, upbeat, positive attitude.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as an integral team member.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base.

Expertise in the following software applications:

Adobe Illustrator

• current version Adobe Photoshop
• current version Microsoft Office
• current version (Word, Excel, Power Point) o Expertise in color management concepts and procedures o Experience with Flexi-Sign a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Using a combination of hand sketching, computer modeling, and technical specifications designers interpret the Sales Representative’s and client’s vision, desire, and needs into a drawing/rendering that will clearly and accurately communicate the desired end result to the client, municipalities and all internal departments. Trav-Ad offers state of the art custom signage solutions. It takes over 21 skilled trades to design, manufacture and install our quality products.
