Location Airport Full/Part Time Full-Time Exempt from Classified Service No Minimum Rate 61826.38 Min Pay Frequency Yearly Maximum Rate 108839.04 Max Pay Frequency Yearly Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field. Two years of advanced computer graphic design experience to include usage of specialized graphics programs, color digital pre-press, high resolution scanning, and maintenance of complex computer design systems are required. Additional experience in computer graphic design experience to include usage of specialized graphics programs, color digital pre-press, high resolution scanning, and maintenance of complex computer design systems may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Recruitment Notes This position is responsible for a range of complex tasks related to designing and developing graphic materials within the Signage Section of the Miami-Dade Aviation Department. Key responsibilities include creating signage layouts that adhere to the design guidelines established by the Wayfinding Signage Program for Miami International Airport and General Aviation (GA) airports. Airport Security Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks, employment verification, and other such procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
