Tasks will include creating 2D images, editing photos and video, and designing complex charts and wireframes. Must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite tools. Duties may include planning, designing, and preparation of media (audio, video and visual), as well as strategy and conceptualization of new designs to the training team.

What you will be doing:

• Create photos, videos, 2D still images, and complex drawings.
• Unwrapping 3D models and compact UV sets.
• Texturing models based on reference material.
• Lighting and rendering 2D assets (static images and animations.
• Editing videos and outputting in multiple formats (FLV, AVI, MP4 etc.).
• Creating interactive HTML5 interactions.
• Participating in strategy and concept development of design elements.
• Working with the Production Team (Subject Matter Experts, Instructional Designers, Media Developers) providing ideas and creative support to respective initiatives.
• Determining the best way to achieve the desired media using existing stock imagery, developing of new material, or a combination of both.
• Reading, comprehending, and executing media requests.
• Following project standards to ensure all media assets meet established guidelines.
• Adhering to proper workflow as outlined by the project standards.
• Review Government Furnished Information.
• Review all training content and provide input to Instructional Designers.
• Support design meetings with SMEs and Instructional Designers.
• Create and edit audio as required.
• Minimum of 1-8 years’ experience working in multimedia design field.
• Proficiency in knowledge of design processes and tools. o Working from provided guidelines and standards.
• Ability to learn new industry techniques and software packages and integrate new workflows in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to handle multiple initiatives, projects, and deadlines.
• Familiarity with the Adobe CC Suite, specifically: Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, After Effects and Premiere.
• Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset: o Javascript.

o Adobe, Captivate o

HTML5/CSS.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
• Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• General understanding of SCORM and Learning Management Systems
• Diploma or certificate in graphic design or digital media would be considered an asset.
• Must be a US citizen and the ability to maintain/obtain a Secret security clearance Submitting a portfolio is strongly encouraged.
