Responsibilities:

Develop environmental graphics and dimensional signage scope from concept to technical illustrations, including drafting of multiple views, and 3D modeling. Work on a project team, under the supervision of the project’s Lead Designer and support adherence to established project strategies, schedules, and budgetsWork with a small team of designers in the design of physical environmental graphics and dimensional signage for various projects, through the development of mechanical/technical illustrations, and completion of contract documents for fabrication and/or 3D modeling and production artSupport physical dimensional environmental graphics, operational signage and wayfinding designing in collaboration with other disciplines; Creative, Show/Ride, Design & Production, and Operational partnersSupport implementation of project goals/objectives through problem-solving and development of Graphic design solutionsAnswer questions during the sign construction bid process and respond to and resolve field issues and questionsMonitor performance against the project design schedule, budget, and earned valueCoordinate and communicate design issues with project Lead, Principal, or Graphic Design ManagerInteract and communicate with the project team as the discipline lead or key department representativeExpected to influence the design of fairly complex projects in all project matters

Experience:

7 years in Environmental Graphic Design practice preferredConstruction phase experience, including the submittal/shop drawing review process and on-site field inspectionsFamiliarity with BIM standardsProficient in understanding of wayfinding systemsDemonstrated ability/experience with programming Graphic Signage for a wide range of facility typesWorking understanding of Contract processesWorking knowledge/experience with planning a Project Life CycleProficient in Adobe Suite with a focus on Photoshop and Illustrator, CADtools plug-in for Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Teams, Mac OS software and hardware.

Ideal Candidate:

Proficient with signage code requirements, including but not limited to Fire, Safety, Health, and ADAGAbility to produce a reliable sign fabrication and installation estimate based on schematic level designBA or BS degreeThe target hiring compensation range for this role is $46.75 to $51.95 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
