This is an estimated 30-month Project Hire position without any guarantee of permanent placement. A portfolio review is preferred for this position. What You Will Do Supervise Design Services consultants as required Organize and develop scopes of work, hard cost budgets, and schedules for projects of limited complexity and size Responsible for the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of project team effort Answer vendor questions during Graphics fabrication bidding process May supervise Graphics Installation contractors in the field Prepare Facility impact documents to meet project schedules Support the development of fabrication specifications Working knowledge of Disney Business practices that relate to the hiring and management of fabrication vendors Capable of making day-to-day decisions on a scope of work with minimal supervision Expected to complete work as assigned with minimal supervision Regularly communicate and coordinate with others in the department, and as part of a larger, multidisciplinary project team May represent Graphics at project team meetings or vendor shops Support implementation of project goals/objectives through problem-solving and development of design solutions Required Qualifications & Skills 3 years of experience in Environmental Graphic design practice Knowledge of Environmental Graphic design and sign construction techniques Strong Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Autodesk, with a particular focus on Illustrator, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Revit Technical knowledge of Sign design Knowledge of related areas, including architecture, interior design, area development, etc. Familiarity with BIM standards Familiarity with documentation necessary for developing biddable documents for Graphic Signage Demonstrated commitment to producing high-quality work Familiarity with signage code requirements Willingness to travel extensively on various domestic and international assignments as needed supporting Disney Cruise Line assignments Must have a valid US Passport Preferred Education BA/BS degree from an accredited program Additional Information Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
