Full Job Description Graphic Designer Family Church Network Position Overview:

Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the creation of creative, high-quality assets for multiple platforms across the Family Church Network. Goals will be to create and present graphic design concepts that effectively communicate key messages and move people to action. The goal is to help us tell a story through visual presentation that is aligned with our overall branding, vision, mission, and core values.

Direct Leader:

Creative Director Prerequisites Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church. Affirm the FCN statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000. Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or comparable design software. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow. Demonstrated ability to work in a project management software. Professional and positive demeanor. General Responsibilities Advance the mission and vision by supporting all decisions regarding strategic direction, programming changes, church-wide gatherings, and budgetary decisions. Prepare for and attend all required/necessary meetings and retreats, including weekly Staff Chapel and Communications and Marketing Team meetings, special called meetings for special events, and various staff retreats as requested. Maintain detailed documentation including best practices in your ministry-area. Manage personal workflow, including communication of assignment status. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a stressful work environment. Maintain cooperative spirit assisting others when needed or requested. Communicate effectively with leadership, peers, members, volunteers, and prospects. Work a flexible schedule, which includes after hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment, intellectual property, etc. Manage personal expenses. Understand, adhere to and support all procedural guidelines. Specific Responsibilities Assist in storytelling through design concepts. Produce iterations of designs based on Family Church branding. Provide creative feedback and direction in conjunction with the Creative Director. Support the creative assets at Family Church At Home as needed. Demonstrate ideation and typography. Adhere to and reinforce Family Church branding guidelines. Utilize current and/or popular design trends. Provide deliverables according to our established calendar; i.e., sermon series, church-wide events, campus, and ministry area requests. Work collaboratively with other team members and departments. Create content on multiple formats, including print and digital.
