We have been working with each U.S. Army Basic Combat Training Unit at Fort Moore, helping them to design and produce their official Platoon gear. This artwork helps commemorate the beginning of their Army career and ensures that they will never forget their BCT/AIT experience, battle buddies, or the Drill Sergeants that helped mold them into the Soldiers they have become. Our guiding principle has always been to employ the “core values” at every opportunity with soldiers and civilians alike. Description We are looking for someone to join our briefing team as a platoon art designer. As a designer you will work directly with trainees from each platoon to assist in the art creation process of the platoon shirt designs. During this process you will assist and guide the trainees in arranging the design in the best way possible so their platoon receives a unique design that they will cherish for years to come. After gathering the ideas from the trainees you will type up the design ideas in an organized manner to send to our graphic artist.

Art Designer Duties:

• Explain to trainees the process of designing their platoon shirt
• Answer any questions during the art meeting
• Advise trainees how best to go about putting the design together
• Collect and go over all art notes from the trainees
• Organize and type all art notes to be emailed to our company artist in a way that is clear and understood easily
• Other duties will include helping in other departments as needed (I.

E. warehouse duties, helping pack orders, deliver orders etc.)

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong presentation and networking skills
• Possess good memorization skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to reconstruct day to day operations easily due to any scheduling conflicts
• Ability to handle stressful situations including schedule changes, limited time with trainees, and outdoor weather conditions
• Must have flexible schedule
• Graphic arts background preferred, especially if it is the apparel industry
• Must have a valid Drivers License and be able to pass a background check to acquire a pass to get onto

Fort Moore Shift:

Monday -Friday 0900-1600 (may be required to come in early or stay late for unit meetings to design the shirts)
