Job Description
The Senior Graphic and Content Designer plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the visual and instructional content strategy across various business objectives. This position is responsible for creating engaging, clear, and instructional digital and print materials, including job aids, training resources, and website assets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and branding standards. The individual will manage multiple projects concurrently, from conceptualization to delivery, while overseeing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration. A key focus is on developing innovative content that is both visually compelling and educational, while ensuring all materials are organized, on-brand, and reflect the company’s strategic goals. The Senior Graphic and Content Designer will also lead content updates, work with vendors, and stay current with industry trends to continuously improve creative output.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Design & Media Development Develop clear, strategic content that translates business objectives across various units and stakeholders. Create visually engaging and instructionally sound content and graphics, transforming complex technical material into visually concise formats Design and improve digital and print training resources, including job aids and other materials using appropriate authoring tools. Produce digital and print materials such as job aids, training resources, signage, social media graphics, website assets, and logos, aligning with operational and training needs. Maintain and update cross-functional tools, including portions of the Operating Standards Manual (OSM), ensuring clarity and simplicity. Ensures designs and content consistently and positively reflects the brand image and company objectives Creates and manages weekly team member level newsletter Generate content for team member focused social media Supports video and photo shoots to create field facing content that drives operational execution Project & Content Management Manage the activation of print kits throughout the year for the company, franchise, sports bar, and GO, ensuring all materials are on-brand and meet operational needs. Leads print production planning, including scheduling, coordinating, needs analysis, and communication planning Develop project timelines and manage the flow of creative projects from inception to completion, including the delivery and production of final assets. Track and guide the flow of tasks between the team and vendors, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope. Manage the internal brand operations content library, ensuring files are organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible. Anticipate potential issues that may delay project completion and implement solutions to mitigate risks. Collaborate with Restaurant Experience team leadership to allocate budgets appropriately and meet budget requirements through forecasting and managing project expenses. Conduct brainstorming sessions to generate innovative, actionable initiatives, balancing strategic thinking and fiscal responsibility. Ensure content consistency and accuracy in training resources and job aids by working closely with cross-functional teams and operations leadership. Maintain and update materials on the intranet for sports bar use, ensuring accessibility and accuracy. Lead the relationship with translation vendors, setting project priorities and staying within budget constraints. Ensure projects are routed for proper approval, and record and organize all sign-offs. Stay current on industry trends in graphic design and training development, applying relevant knowledge to enhance project outcomes. Demonstrate strong operational knowledge and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
