Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, GA 30328 Growing, dynamic, local printer and marketing services provider is seeking a temporary (3 months) with the potential to expand to full-time, creative graphic designer to work in our fully equipped, state of the art graphics and pre-press department. Primary responsibility will be the design and set-up of customer projects ranging from simple one color to multiple spot and four color projects. In addition to being responsible for contemporary, creative design your daily activities will also include pre-press functions such as file preparation to ensure correct color-separations and trapping for outputting to various devices, scanning of color and black/white artwork, emailing proofs, file management and organization, staying current on and updating software releases, creating pdfs, managing purchase orders to outside vendors, and troubleshooting files. Communicating with clients in a pleasant and professional manner and collaborating with them on marketing projects will also be part of your duties. Projects will be output to a number of digital devices including computer-to-plate, color copiers, large-format color printers, black and white high speed printers and direct imaging 4 color press. Strong working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and PDF is required. You must be able to work independently and have the dedication to meet deadlines on a continuing basis in a fast-paced work environment, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work efficiently. You must be also be willing to put forth the effort to learn and grow in your profession.
