Job Description:
The Graphic Design Assistant will gain experience working in a team environment in marketing, photography, and promotions for Framingham State University. The ideal candidate should be able to handle tight deadlines, have design skills, and be creative. Since it will be a team environment; we are also seeking individuals who have strong communication skills, are respectful towards others, and can receive constructive criticism well.
Primary responsibilities:
Translating client needs and branding strategies into design strategies Create accessible documents. Environment photography Communicate creative concepts Work closely with the Communications and Marketing staff to translate their messaging concepts into effective marketing materials
Job Requirements:
Mastery of graphic design software Solid knowledge of design and visual principles Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills Ability to evaluate choices critically, with the customer needs in mind Ability to communicate design choices clearly Great multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
Additional Information:
This is a part-time non-benefited, contract position, not to exceed 18 hours per week. The scheduled hours are flexible. The pay rate is $30.00 per hour.
