Sign Fabrication Specialist (CNC + Graphic Design) Bee Seen Signs 507 Babe Ruth Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109 Job Summary We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in various graphic design tools. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills to produce visually appealing designs and products that meet client specifications and project goals. Responsibilities Operate CNC equipment to cut and fabricate sign components Translate graphic design files into production-ready output Assist with sign assembly, finishing, and installation prep Maintain machinery and ensure safety standards Collaborate with the design and installation team on custom signage projects Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives. Create original graphic designs for print and including banners, vinyl signs, UV print and structural assembly. Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to develop high-quality visuals. Ensure all designs are aligned with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various platforms. Prepare files for production, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, colors, and formats. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design skills and techniques. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Experience Experience in signage fabrication, welding, woodworking, or related trades. Strong understanding of CNC routing (setup and operation) Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production files. Detail-oriented with a passion for quality craftsmanship Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw, Flexi, etc.) is essential. Familiarity with production processes including the use of power tools, welding, hand tools, rigging, cutting, fabrication, building, and caliper usage, is a plus. Experience operating forklifts, cranes and bucket trucks is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong portfolio showcasing previous work and creative capabilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
