Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced Event Graphics Project Manager to lead teams and oversee the full graphics and signage event lifecycle. They will provide strategy, comprehensive project management, coordinating all vendors and stakeholders to align efforts toward exceptional event experiences. The preferred candidate has superior ability to coordinate and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
What Your Day Could Consist Of:
Strategic Planning and Development Develop detailed production schedules and budgets specific to signage and graphics. Oversee and maintain installation maps, sign schedules, punch list and tear-down plans. End-to-End Project Management Oversee the full graphics and signage event lifecycle from planning to install to post-event analysis. Serve as the primary project leader managing day-to-day activities, making key decisions and guiding project teams. Manage schedules and timelines using tools like SmartSheet to track progress and report status. Coordinate with city officials and event operations teams to ensure signage strategies align with branding guidelines, traffic control, public space requirements, and crowd management goals. Vendor and Stakeholder Management Build and maintain professional relationships with contractors including installers, fabricators, logistics coordinators, and local labor crews. Team Leadership & Collaboration Foster a collaborative and productive environment among all internal and external stakeholders. Promote ongoing team communications through organized meetings, meeting minutes, and timely project updates shared with internal teams and external consultants. Post-Event Evaluation Conduct post-event analysis and gather feedback to evaluate success. Prepare detailed reports to guide future planning and improvements.
Requirements For Success:
Proficiency in project management software tools, e.g. Asana, Smartsheet and Sign Agent; experience using Sign Agent for sign programming and location mapping is a strong plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. Knowledge of ADA compliance and venue safety protocols related to signage preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with highly capable problem-solving ability. Ability to think both strategically and tactically in fast-paced environments. Proven ability to manage coordinate and manage multiple small to medium-sized projects with complex scopes by utilizing exceptional organizational skills including effective time management, strategic planning, and prioritization. Comprehensive knowledge of design principles, fabrication techniques, and material applications including understanding of print production processes and substrates. Demonstrated expertise in relationship-building, problem-solving, and collaborative teamwork, managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Essential Qualifications:
Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or Construction Management (B. Arch, M. Arch or equivalent) 7+ years of experience in event production, environmental graphics, or large format signage 2+ years of project management experience across all project phases PMP certification or completion of equivalent project management is a plus
