Graphics Technician 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars West Jefferson, NC 28694 POSITION SUMMARY This position is for a detail oriented person who enjoys the challenge of designing and creating in a diverse range of mediums. The ideal candidate will be working on team based projects with a wide range of daily responsibilities that provides an excellent opportunity to learn multiple disciplines within the design, production, and manufacturing industry.

Additional responsibilities and opportunities include:

Learning to use a diverse set of equipment including 3D Printers, UV Printers, Laminators, Thermoforming Units, CO2 + Fiber Laser Engravers and Cutters, Product Photography Software, and more Working with a team to develop, approve, and produce new products while continuing to improve and update the current product lines Inspect finished materials for acceptable quality and accuracy. You will learn to spot anomalies in materials, machines, and processes Help with general production and assembly and maintaining equipment

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Generate artwork and media Review work orders, customer drawings, and purchase orders Import and correct files for products to be made Modify existing art and media as requested Print and engrave material Operate lasers, printers, and equipment Inspect raw materials for defects Develop production processes Be available to help with other production or production support duties Software Experience Preferred Windows 10 Microsoft Office Adobe Creative Cloud Education High school diploma/equivalent Two or four year degree in graphic design / production Equivalent training and experience Necessary Skills Ability to meet deadlines Flexibility to adapt to new design and schedule requirements Intermediate to advanced computer skills (i.e using Microsoft Products) Must have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Must be able to find and correct spelling errors Math skills, basic record keeping, use and read measuring devices Ability to lift 15 lbs. Must be able to stand up to 40% of the time Must be able to work occasional paid overtime upon request
