Role:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic in-house

Graphic Designer :

to join our dynamic marketing team. If you’re a creative visionary with a keen eye for detail and a passion for bringing brands to life through compelling visuals, this role is for you! You’ll play a crucial part in shaping the visual identity of Kitty Hawk Kites and its diverse family of brands, contributing to everything from eye-catching ads to engaging digital campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Print Advertising Design:

Create impactful designs for our print ad publications, ensuring brand consistency and compelling messaging.

Digital Advertising Design:

Develop engaging graphics for our online advertising destinations, social media platforms, and various digital campaigns.

Email Campaign Creation:

Design visually appealing email templates and graphics for marketing campaigns across recreation, retail, e-commerce, and events, often utilizing platforms like HubSpot .

Store Signage & Displays:

Design a wide range of in-store graphics, including banners, A-frames, product displays, pricing sheets, logo signs, sale signs, and open/closing signage.

Event & Promotional Materials:

Produce captivating event flyers, promotional graphics, and other collateral for our many festivals and activities.

Corporate & Brand Materials:

Design professional business cards, certificates, awards, and ensure consistent brand application across all corporate assets.

Billboards:

Develop large-format designs for billboards that capture attention and communicate our brand message effectively.

Visual Asset Management:

Work with the Content Manager to ensure all visual assets are organized, easily accessible, and align with brand guidelines.

Brand Voice & Tone:

Consistently apply Kitty Hawk Kites’ adventurous, welcoming, knowledgeable, and authentic brand voice and tone across all visual outputs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse design projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially

Adobe Illustrator:

, Photoshop, and InDesign. Experience with email marketing platforms like

HubSpot:

is a significant plus. Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout for both print and digital media. Ability to translate marketing objectives into creative and effective design solutions. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the marketing team and other departments. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location:

This is a full-time, in-house position located in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina.

Annual Salary:
