Job Description
YFMD is seeking a creative and ambitious Entry-Level Graphic Designer to join our growing team and contribute to a variety of community-centered brands. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for design, an interest in AI technology, and a desire to bring visual ideas to lifefrom logos and social media graphics to web layouts and flyers.
This is a hands-on opportunity to grow your portfolio, work in a collaborative environment, and help elevate small businesses in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Design eye-catching logos, graphics, and visual content for both print and digital useAssist in developing layouts for websites, social media posts, brochures, and promotional materialsCollaborate with clients and our creative team to bring concepts to lifeLearn and incorporate AI-based design tools and automations to improve workflow and creativityRevise designs based on feedback and ensure projects are completed on timeMaintain organized design files and brand consistency across client projects
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)Interest or experience in web design platforms (e.g., Wix, WordPress, Squarespace)Willingness to learn and explore AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, ChatGPT, Looka, etc.)Strong sense of creativity, detail, and design trendsAbility to accept feedback and apply revisionsPortfolio (can include schoolwork or personal projects) preferred
