Job Description
Graphic Designer (Port Washington, NY) – Full Time Design or create graphics to meet the specific commercial or promotional needs of a personal care products company, such as packaging, displays, or logos. Use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Develop, execute, and maintain compelling visual concepts for our products and nail/hair accessories brands. Work in conjunction with marketingmanagement to conceptualize projects, then independently execute a variety of projects for multiple divisions and audiences. Apply visual systems across multiple tools and materials, including computer design applications, to create original elements and prepare illustrations, sketches, and designs. Contribute artistic vision to multiple projects and successfully develop new products using various programs such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Work with the department head on marketing initiatives and be responsible for providing a high level of design by strategically ensuring that all marketing creative is consistent with brand guidelines. Collaborate with other departments to ascertain needs and develop graphic directions, concepts, and specifications for projects. Accurately maintain the design library, digital files, and records.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Visual Communication Design, or related, plus 24 months of experience in job offered or as Graphic Artist, Graphic Manager, Senior Designer, Design Artist, or related position.
