100% Remote
3 month with month to month extension up to 6 months
Must work EST time
30 hours per week Graphic Design/Production Artist Contractor
The Graphic Design/Production Artist will co-lead the creative direction and execution of consumer facing design elements for the clients Audiobooks team. Primary Responsibilities Creation of Audiobook cover art concepts, templates, and finals.
Ultimately will be responsible for large quantities of book covers.
Coordinating/managing the designs, approvals and archiving of large volumes of cover art.
Support the clients Audiobooks team with ad hoc design needs.
Requirements:
Must work EST time
Portfolio showing strong layout and typography skills. (Can be a website link, Instagram account, or similar.)
5+ years of experience.30 hours a week.
Must be available set 2-3 days (M-F. 9am-5pm EST) for weekly meetings.
Good organizational skills for high volume of covers.
Ability to design and build templates in Adobe Creative Suite.
Bonus if they can find unique ways to streamline the process.
Bonus if they are proficient in Figma to build mock ups.
Extremely strong professional communication skills.
Must communicate well with outside partners and manage back and forth approvals with brand/legal internally and externally.
