Newspaper Press Operator 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 8130 Laurel Mill Road, Ridgway, PA 15853 The Ridgway Record is seeking a full time Newspaper Press Operator. The Newspaper Press Operator will be the lead press person for our pressroom, running the press and leading instruction to the press crew. This includes overseeing all production of printed products and maintaining and servicing the press and print facility equipment while performing work related duties as assigned. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license, insurance and clean driving record. Must be able to work flexible evening and night shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Must be able to be able to operate a forklift, be proficient in use of hand tools and have mechanical aptitude, and be detail oriented. Must be able to climb ladders, lift objects of at least 75lbs, and move heavy rolls of newsprint. Position requires standing and bending for long periods of time while working efficiently and may include other work related duties not listed. We will train the right person.
