THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY. ABOUT

We are a Human Experience Agency based in Philadelphia, PA. We’re passionate about removing the friction that can exist between products and people, through a combination of strategy, creative communications, and product development. The Production Designer at MOD will be an expert in Adobe InDesign and have a strong background in high-volume content production design, such as brochures, flyers, and other multi-page formats. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

… Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality production design for various print and digital projects. Create and format designs with expert use of Adobe InDesign features and tools, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines. Manage the design and production of work from concept to final output, including preparing files for print and digital distribution. Assist project management to develop and maintain creative and production schedules to deliver work on time. Work closely with editors, writers, and other stakeholders to implement feedback and make necessary revisions. Ensure all designs are visually appealing, accurate, and meet the highest quality standards through industry standard quality control and proofing practices. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve design processes and outputs. Troubleshoot and resolve any design and production-related issues that arise.

YOUR CREDENTIALS

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in production design, with a focus on high-volume content production. Expertise in Adobe InDesign, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in multi-page layouts. Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Suite applications, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience working in a creative, design or advertising agency setting is preferred.
