This position reports to
Senior Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Mebane, NC.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing basic survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
- Collecting data and supports production of the engineering design.
- Exercising judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods and prepares project documentation within their scope of deliverables.
- Assisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables.
- Assisting communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
- Uses standard processes and tools applicable to one’s area of responsibility.
- Reporting process and tool inefficiencies, along with suggesting ideas for improvement.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical or related) required.
0-2 years of related experience required.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
