As the Experiential Graphics Manager, you will lead the Firm’s Experiential Graphic efforts in creating captivating and immersive visual experiences within architectural spaces. Your role is pivotal in shaping the way people interact with and perceive physical environments. You will collaborate closely with architectural project teams and clients, overseeing the conceptualization, design, and execution of graphics, signage, wayfinding systems, and environmental branding elements that elevate the user experience.
In addition to managing the Experiential Graphic Designer, your responsibilities will epass strategic planning, project coordination, and ensuring the highest quality of design deliverables. You will be responsible for developingprehensive wayfinding solutions that seamlessly guide individuals throughplex spaces while adhering to accessibility and regulatory standards. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to craft environmental branding elements thatmunicate the identity and values of our clients and our firm.
Your role as Experiential Graphics Manager is not just about design but also leadership. You will mentor, inspire, and empower the Experiential Graphic Designer to deliver exceptional design solutions, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. You will also act as a key liaison with clients, ensuring their visions are translated into tangible, impactful designs.
This position can be based out of either our Greenville, SC or Asheville, NC offices.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:

Supervise, mentor, and guide the Experiential Graphic Designer, fostering their professional growth and development.
Promote a collaborative and innovative work culture within the team.

Project Management:

Oversee the conceptualization, design, and execution of experiential graphics projects, ensuring they meet client objectives, deadlines, and budget constraints.
Act as the main point of contact with clients, managing their expectations and ensuring project satisfaction.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Experiential Graphics department, aligning it with the firm’s overall goals and objectives.
Identify emerging trends and technologies in the field and incorporate them into department strategies.

Quality Assurance:

Review and approve design concepts, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Conduct regular quality control checks on project deliverables.

Wayfinding and Branding:

Lead the development of wayfinding systems and environmental branding strategies that enhance architectural spaces andmunicate client brand identities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with architectural project teams, interior designers, and other stakeholders to integrate experiential graphics seamlessly into architectural projects.

Resource Management:

Manage departmental resources, including budgets, materials, and external vendors or contractors as needed.

Qualifications:

5-10 Years Experiential Graphic Design experience
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Extensive experience in experiential graphics design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Develop design assignments throughout all project phases
Coordinatemunication between project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants
Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and 3D modeling/rendering tools (e.g., Revit) strongly desired.
Knowledge of ADA and wayfinding standards and regulations.
Excellentmunication and client management skills.
Strategic thinking and the ability to align graphics design with broader architectural objectives.
Amitment to quality and attention to detail.
Project management experience and the ability to multitask effectively.
