The Graphic Designer and Activation Coordinator is responsible for designing collateral, print publications, signage, graphics for social media, web pages, digital advertising and more for internal and external company purposes as requested. The Activation Coordinator and Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and executing all email marketing campaigns for the organization. The Activation Coordinator and Graphic Designer is also responsible for the tracking, activation, fulfillment, execution, and day-to-day management of all aspects of new and existing Columbia Fireflies Corporate Partnerships as well as assisting with the creation of post-event/season Proof of Performance Reviews.

Duties/ Responsibilities:
Create and design graphics and collateral as requested. This includes, but is not limited to: Fireflies Gameday Billboards, Social Media Graphics, Fireflies Gameday Graphics, Website Graphics, Ticket Sales Collateral, Corporate Partnerships and Activation Collateral, Special Events Collateral, Food & Beverage Collateral and Full Large Event Graphics Packages as requested Create and Design all in-stadium signage as requested, this includes signage for corporate partners, food and beverage, premium group hospitality areas and other stadium signage projects Collaborate on maintaining the Fireflies Brand Standard with the Vice President of Marketing Develop all Fireflies Email Campaigns as requested by all departments Includes designing, building, creating, and scheduling for all email messages Create and design all print collateral as needed by all departments. This includes, but is not limited to: Pocket Schedule, Gameday Programs, Hospitality Guide and branded ticket stock and other ticketing print needs Design Fireflies theme night jerseys Design and assemble all digital and print advertising with media outlets for trafficking Design Fireflies T-Shirt Giveaways and other elements related to giveaways Gather, plan, execute, and track all contractual elements for each corporate partner while serving as the primary fulfillment and activation contact for Corporate Partners Act as the Partner’s main point of contact for contract fulfillment and activation both externally and internally. Maintain a detailed list of contacts and detailed deadlines for all deliverables Responsible for the creation, update and distribution of all Corporate Partnership collateral Collect photographs and other material that may be needed in post- season Proof of Performance Recaps Coordinate all MLB signed corporate partnerships and fulfill all related Proof or Performance elements Ensure the production and installation and longevity of all Corporate Partner in- stadium signage by acting as the main point of contact with the Fireflies signage installation partner(s) Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL GAMEDAY FUNCTIONS
Columbia Fireflies staff are required to work most or all of Columbia Fireflies Home Baseball games Manage the Fireflies Fan Photos social media initiative. Assist the Marketing and promotions team with other gameday elements as needed Take all photos needed by the Corporate Sales team for proof of performance purposes Take in-game photo of elements that may be needed for future graphics and print projects Entertain corporate partners in-game as necessary Responsible for the set up and tear down of all sponsor-related activation elements on gamedays Assist the Corporate Sales Team as Activation Coordinate with other gameday elements as needed Other Duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software. Organized with attention to detail. Ability to work independently on an assignment. Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related Marketing and Graphic Design experience and/or training Applicants within market sales experience is preferred
