Graphic Designer Location:
Spartanburg, SC, United States Description Summary/Objective:
The Graphic Designer works within ACA’s IT department to develop engaging, user-focused design solutions for internal and external projects. This role supports multiple departments across ACA, including HR, Talent Acquisition, Sales, Marketing, and Servicing, by delivering creative designs, videos, and branding materials that align with ACA’s business objectives. The Graphic Designer plays a critical role in creating visual content for web applications, marketing campaigns, recruitment efforts, and customer-facing materials, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications, working closely with the application development team.
Collaborate with internal business partners, such as HR, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and Sales, to create branded materials, including recruitment materials, dealer-facing content, customer communications, and learning module videos.
Assist with video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production, to create compelling content for internal and external purposes.
Ensure all design and video assets align with ACA’s branding standards and business goals.
Participate in user research activities and task flow analysis to gather insights that inform design solutions.
Support the development and implementation of branding strategies across multiple platforms, including digital, print, and video.
Iterate on design solutions based on user feedback, testing results, and analytics to continuously improve user experience and engagement.
Communicate project updates and design rationale to stakeholders, incorporating their feedback in a timely manner.
Contribute to the creation of visual materials for company marketing efforts, recruitment campaigns, career fairs, LinkedIn content, and corporate website updates.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends, tools, and best practices to ensure that all deliverables meet modern standards and expectations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in graphic or interface design, with a focus on UI/UX, branding, and marketing.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Figma, and video production tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Knowledge of user experience principles, usability testing, and design best practices.
Ability to shoot and edit video content, ensuring high-quality, branded visual storytelling.
Strong understanding of branding, marketing design, and recruitment campaign creation.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
