Graphic Artist 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 415 Spence Lane, Nashville, TN 37210 Locally owned printing company is seeking a full-time, experienced graphic artist and typesetter. Advancement opportunities exist for the right candidate. Excellent phone and customer service demeanor required. This is a 100% in person (no remote) job. Office hours are from 8:00 – 5:00 PM M-F Candidate will be responsible for performing any combination of the following duties including graphic design, project management, communication with customers, setting up customer art files, making revisions, color matching, creating and proofing customer files for production, as well as setting up and maintaining online ordering portals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and prepare final art for printer, including color calibration. Create plates for offset printing. Maintain and create customer online ordering portals, and provide technical support for end users. Provide strong project management, including knowledge of pre-press.. Review artwork throughout the production process and provide quality assurance Maintain organized file management system as outlined by department processes. Provide comps, mock-ups and renderings for internal and/or customer use. Be a support for all aspects of the creative process, from concept to production. Create company creative/graphics for advertisement and marketing campaigns. Strong organization abilities, including time and resource management. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills which foster and develop existing relationships.
