Job Description
We are seeking a Temp Packaging Designer to join a dynamic and collaborative packaging design team supporting multiple well-established consumer brands in the toys industry. This is an exciting opportunity to design innovative, eye-catching, and functional packaging that stands out on shelves and resonates with diverse target markets. You’ll influence all consumer-facing design initiatives in the packaging department for designated brands, making a meaningful impact on product perception and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative packaging systems, both structural and graphical Conceptualize ideas and translate them into detailed sketches, prototypes, and digital designs Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and global partners, to ensure consistent brand messaging Create and modify packaging die line templates Prepare high-quality mock-ups and design submissions for internal and licensor approvals Stay updated with current packaging and toy industry trends to inform design choices Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for ongoing and upcoming projects Ensure packaging meets brand standards, compliance, and manufacturing guidelines Our ideal candidate has: 3+ years of experience in packaging design Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Experience working with style guides and mockups Strong knowledge of print processes, dielines, materials, and manufacturing methods Background in consumer goods packaging; toy or baby product experience preferred Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organization skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously A creative mindset with a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities Multilingual abilities, experience with trade shows, licensed brands, and licensor approvals are a plus If you’re a design-forward thinker passionate about turning creative ideas into impactful packaging, we’d love to hear from you.
