Mechanical Designer Position Available In St. Mary, Louisiana

Description We’re looking for creative and driven marine designers and drafters to help shape the future of autonomous surface vessels. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in both traditional marine design and cutting-edge autonomous technologies. • Support new vessel construction through detailed 2D and 3D modeling and technical drawing production
• Create and modify ship construction drawings
• Work directly with naval architects, marine engineers, and electrical engineers on new vessel design implementation
• Maintain strict drawing standards
• Create documentation for marine regulatory compliance
• Strong fundamentals in one or more areas of vessel design: general design, mechanical design, electrical design, structural design, and piping design
• Knowledge of maritime regulatory requirements, construction tolerances, and vessel construction processes and sequences Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00
• $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
