We’re seeking an experienced Product Designer with 5-7 years of experience to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Design Lead, Product Owners and developers to create intuitive, user-centered designs while working within our established design systems. This position reports to the Design Lead on the project for design feedback and direction.
Key Responsibilities
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for digital products
Work directly with Product Owners to understand requirements and translate them into design solutions
Collaborate with developers, preparing and delivering dev-ready design documentation
Contribute to our design system and ensure consistent collaboration and implementation with the larger team
Participate in Agile ceremonies and design reviews
Conduct user research and usability testing as needed (A/B testing)
Required Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in product design
Expert proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
Strong experience with Miro for collaborative design work
Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments
Experience working with and contributing to design systems
Proven track record of preparing and handing over dev-ready design documentation
Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design process, solutions and outcomes
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

This role is onsite and remote. Talent not local to Cambridge will NOT be considered.

Compensation Range:
$65 – $70 hrly (DOE)
The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
