Join an innovative design team at a global automotive company asa Design Engineer. You will contribute to the development andoptimization of initial concept to finish production being involvedwith the creative processes with highly collaborative teams. Responsibilities:
- Design feasibility, cost analysis, strength calculations, partconstruction, and part specification.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations to sharefindings with team members and senior management.
- Work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requestedappropriately.
- Evaluate technical proposals.
- Write technical reports.
- Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
- Work on detail part design and packaging studies.
- Complete work on various parts of the car including driveassist, radars, camera, crash sensors, etc.
- Will work in 3D environment and will run conversating withdifferent teams supporting them with styling decisions.
- Work on 2D/3D drawing and annotating drawings.
- Work on technical documentation and investigations.
Required Skillset:
- Minimum of 3+ years of industry engineering experience withautomotive electrical components from initial concept through massproduction.
- 3+ years of hands on
CATIA V5
experience.
- Must be proficient in technical writing and possess computerskills for scientific and technical applications.
- Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects anddevelop analytical procedures.
- Requires a BS or MS in engineering.
- Previous experience in the automotive or aerospaceindustry.
- Ability to report research and test results in varioustechnical formats.
- Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reachproject goals.
Bonus Skillset:
