- Summary
- This role is responsible for communication, coordination, scheduling, and organization of all project material relating to the production of packaging initiatives of new items, line extensions, promotional packaging, and any additional packaging changes for Mars Petcare Brands.
This role manages a high level of complexity and number of projects on an annual basis and has leadership responsibilities for ensuring completion of key tasks with excellence
- What are we looking for?
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in graphics execution and print execution
- Must have proven Project Management experience
- Must have proven Process Management experience
- Must have experience working with external suppliers/partners as client or buyer
- BA/BS in Design, Marketing, Business, Communications Expertise in graphics creative development, execution, and printing processes
- Knowledge of the S&OP+ process
- Possess extensive initiative, collaboration on complex issues, and strong proactive leadership experience
- Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and a variety of initiatives and processes
- Proficient skill in coordinating activities and resources
- Ability to apply problem solving and process improvement techniques and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to deliver a product on time and with sensitivity to the subject matter
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions

- What will be your key responsibilities?
- Manage a subset of packaging projects in Mars Petcare NA, across Mars Petcare Brands
- Responsible for routing artwork to all key business functions and outside as applicable. Track documentation of all alterations, approvals, and final releases.
- Ensure individuals involved in the artwork process adhere to the agreed to work process
- Lead review meetings to ensure final graphics are reviewed and aligned by cross-functional team
- Proactive involvement in relevant project meetings to aid in timeline management and minimize risk as it pertains to the graphics process
- Proactively work with prepress supplier/graphic agencies to ensure Mars Petcare expectations are met
- Support the Display Customization Team by overseeing display packaging projects
