This role involves a balance of creative design work and administrative responsibilities, helping to ensure design projects run smoothly from concept through completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a passion for design and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Design Manager in developing and producing design concepts, drawings, and presentations Support material sourcing, ordering, and tracking to ensure timely delivery of samples and final materials Organize and maintain the materials ordered Create and update design documentation and project presentations Prepare and manage design reports, schedules, and project updates Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors as needed Attend design meetings as necessary to assist with design implementation and progress tracking Maintain clear records of design revisions, material specs, and purchase orders Contribute to brainstorming sessions and support design development with creative input Perform general administrative tasks to support the design team’s workflow
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred 1+ year of relevant experience in a design-related role preferred Experience using design software such as KCD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Cabinet Vision, or similar Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and design trends Bilingual preferred:
English and Spanish Schedule:
