Position Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Interior Design Assistant to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for an individual with a background in interior design who is seeking to advance in a dynamic, design-driven environment. You must have experience, be well-spoken, and comfortable working directly with clients and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead designer with projects from concept to execution Coordinate color schemes, furniture layouts, and sourcing Source fabrics, furniture, and accessories through showrooms and vendors Create client presentations, mood boards, and material boards using Canva and other tools, i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite. Understand and interpret floor plans Organize and maintain design materials and samples Participate in showroom visits and shop in NYC as needed Meet and communicate professionally with clients and project partners Support overall project management and time-sensitive deadlines

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design or related field Strong knowledge of fabrics, furniture, sourcing, and showroom processes Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and general computer skills Familiarity with floor plans, space planning, and furniture placement Excellent verbal communication skills; must be well-presented and confident with clients Highly organized, punctual, and able to manage time efficiently Willing and able to travel to NYC for sourcing when required Available to work 15-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule Must be a local candidate in

Westchester County, NY Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with project management or handling design projects independently Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (a plus)
