Kitchen Designer Sanoma Kitchen & Bath 5179 S University Dr, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33328 Sanoma Kitchen and Bath is a fast growing custom Kitchen and Bath remodeling company and is looking for an experienced Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team. This position offers excellent growth potential for someone looking to work in a creative and fast paced showroom environment. The Kitchen and Bath Designer will work closely with our designer assistants, sales people, field workers, vendors and clients to ensure the success of each project. The kitchen designer will work with clients to create a design that is both functional and unique to their style preferences. The right candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in kitchen design and be proficient in 20/20 Design or similar software.
Kitchen Designer Responsibilities:
Conduct Home Visit meetings with clients to take measurements & ascertain the intended functions and appearance of each space. Anticipating and informing clients of additional features which may be of use to them. Giving careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems to ensure safety. Creating a plan which details the layout and appearance of all installations and loose furniture which observe prescribed building and safety regulations. Suggesting appropriate materials and finishes.
Kitchen Designer Requirements:
Associate’s Degree Familiarity with appropriate design and visualization tools. Portfolio of completed kitchens and bath drawings/plans. Portfolio of completed kitchen and bath designs (including 3D renderings). In-depth knowledge of and strict adherence to the area’s building codes. Top-notch communication and customer service skills. Active listening skills and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Respect for differing opinions, styles, and financial situations. 3 years Kitchen Design experience required. Proficiency in the following
