Zyscovich’s 46-year portfolio includes aviation, mixed-use, multi-family, hospitality, retail, education, and commercial facilities. Zyscovich is seeking a dynamic Interior Designer to join our team! As a Junior Interior Designer, you will play a vital role in supporting our design team in various aspects of interior design projects. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic design environment You will work closely with senior designers and project managers to contribute to the successful execution of projects from concept to completion. Revises drawings, presentations and renderings as assigned under regular supervision. Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing support to senior designers and helping to address client feedback and inquiries. Assist in creating presentation materials and models for client presentations. Learn to manipulate basic design elements such as spatial layout, color, light, texture, and scale. Assists with preparing implementation document sets (i.e., interior plans, fixture plans, elevations, details) Work collaboratively with other team members, including architects, contractors, and vendors, to coordinate design implementation and ensure project success. Assists with the development of interiors concepts based on client vision, desire, project scope and architectural concept. Utilizes creative thinking to achieve innovative solutions. Schedules updates with vendor and maintains finish library.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards Problem solving skills, attention to detail, and motivation to learn Typically, 0-3 years of experience

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
